 Matt Says...No story behind this one. Just generic funnyness and a realization that the Gnome hadn't appeared for a while. Unfortunately, I have some news today that many of you could consider to be of the "bad" variety. Basically it comes down to a small assortment of issues. First, I'm finding it more and more burdensome to come up with comic ideas lately; it's getting annoying having to frantically think "Oh my God, what am I going to write about today???" twice a week. Second, actually making the comic itself is becoming a pain. My lack of artistic talent has been resulting in my rejection of good, funny ideas simply because I'm incapable of adequately portraying what I want to portray. Thirdly, traffic has been continually dropping off for a months now, so there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of demand for me to go through this every few days. I'm sure that by now you guys can put together the pieces and realize that I'm giving fair warning that I'm not going to continue doing Code Rage for all that much longer. At the very least, I will continue through comic #200. That's about three more months. My feelings may change by that time (rest assured I will let you know if they do) but that's how things stand right now. And don't worry. I'm sure in three months I'll be able to come up with the obligatory essay on how this was a great experience for me(it was) and whatnot. ^_^ But for now, I'll just close with the reminder that all good things must come to an end.  |
